I have checked hardware in device manager and it shows that everything is working okay. Plug the speakers into the “line out” port, to effect sound.

A large HSF or water block will come close to hitting these so keep that in mind. If I remember correctly, my mobo came with several nvidia utilities to run the onboard sound.

And I have never heard the windows start-up or shutdown sounds. But have yet to get the sound to come out of the blue or green plugs that a77n8x supposed to be the front speakers. All other devices are enabled and disabled through the BIOS. It is held in place by 2 cross-corner push pins that, unfortunately, will require motherboard removal if a HS replacement s7n8x in order. If these pins are used to connect the optional case ports, sound is still to the rear connectors until you plug in your headphones.
These control the Wake on LAN functions. The Mother Board Motherboards. If you do not have these accessories, or the case does not have the extra connections, you do not remove the jumpers or you wil NOT get the normal sound from the rear connectors.
