Dell has unlimited resources freely available for us to use to avoid these situations, they give warranties I suggest we use them. Ah well, sounds like it might be getting to be time for a new laptop then. I have a D where the screen appears grey, then goes completely to black after it boots.

December 23, at 2: After removing the board I baked it at degrees for 10 minutes and then lstitude it totally cool down for two hours before touching latiude then reinstalled it this morning and I have a perfect display.


Just make sure you are baking the mother board only. February 7, at 5: I removed the motherboard, suspended it on a baking pan using balls of aluminium foil and baked it at degrees for 10 minutes.
